New Calendars are Here!

The new calendars are up in the shop right here! I may have already mentioned how excited I am about these. I decided to design them when I couldn't find a write-in calendar to hang in my studio that wasn't either free from the bank or featuring cute kitten photos (not that I don't love those.) So I decided to take on the project myself and came up with this 12-month wall calendar.

Each month features a different block printed design that was then scanned and added to the grid so there is plenty of space to write events and appointments. Then, the whole thing was offset printed, bound and hole punched so it is ready to hang.

I think I'll be hanging mine up now even though it doesn't start for another six months.

2014 Calendars are Here

It's back to school time again, and that means new office supplies (even if you aren't in school anymore). So with that in mind, the 2014 letterpress calendar is here! This border is done with a hand-carved linoleum block, and the text is added using a printing plate. It's done on a thick cream card stock, and is one of my favorite new products this year! You can find them in the shop right here.

2013 Calendars Now in the Shop!

There may be six months left of 2012, but I just added the new 2013 Letterpress calendar to the shop! It was a big seller at the Stationery Show this year, so I wanted to share it with all of you online.

The calendar is a deep turquoise color, with a hand-painted design inspired by the intricate wall paintings we saw in Jaipur this spring. The old palaces we visited would be covered with these tiny floral and geometric designs on every wall, painted by the same families for hundreds of years. I used the same layout of borders and flowers to paint the design, then transferred it to a plate for letterpress printing.

You can find next year's calendar right here in the shop!

60% Off 2012 Calendars!

I launched the 2013 letterpress calendar at the National Stationery Show, and before I add those to the shop, I'd like to clear out the rest of the 2012 calendars. It was a limited edition print so there are only eleven pieces left, and I just marked them down to 60% off. Get one now for only $9.00! You can find them in the shop right here.

Almost Gone!

Just a quick note to say that the 2012 calendars are almost gone; it was a limited edition print and there are only a few left so if you were thinking of getting one, make sure you get it before they sell out! You can find them right here in the shop.

Thanks to everyone who bought one, this was a huge seller and I'm already brainstorming the 2013 calendar!

The shop will reopen after Christmas with new inventory to start the new year, and will stay open while I am in India, thanks to my amazing intern Kelly. (There is still time to order from her as well, I especially love this wreath card.)

New in the Shop: 2012 Calendars!

There is a new product in the shop today: the limited edition 2012 Letterpress Calendar. This 9" x 12" calendar is based off an original painting, and was letterpress printed with golden yellow ink on thick cream museum board. There are only 75 of them, and once they are gone, they are gone! This is the first time I have turned a design into a letterpress print, and I love the way it came out, so you can definitely expect to see more letterpress in the future.

Also, I am still offering free shipping until Monday with the code "SHIPFREE" so if you buy a calendar before then, you can use the discount code. This will definitely be hanging on my studio wall next year.
