Galbraith and Paul, one of the only companies still doing large-scale block printing in the United States, just came out with a new line of wallpapers. Each piece is printed by hand in a variety of colors, and has a coordinating block printed fabric that goes with it (like in the photo below). Now I can get started on my all-block printed house. Would that be too much?

Wow! That is an intense operation! I get nervous printing a small edition by hand, I can't imagine the stress of a sheet of wallpaper! But their results are amazing...

ReplyDeleteThe prints are all amazing and just perfect for interior decorating a home. I am in a printing equipment business, and I can say that the process of creating those beautiful pieces requires a lot of hard work.

This is so awesome! Are there still a lot of people who do wallpaper printing in Vancouver? I can't recall a time I've heard of anyone even using wallpaper in the last ten years.
